When redesigning their website, Saint Ronan’s school were determined to capitalise on modern use of technology and the power of providing parents and prospects with a deep insight into the goings on at Saint Ronan’s. As part of the project, they also wanted to keep a cohesive brand presence across their marketing materials.
In a social media and mobile driven world, we wanted to create a website that harnessed an organisations ability to capture, curate and display regularly updated content. Through the creation of a social inspired homepage newsfeed Saint Ronan's are able to easily update the content on the site, displaying an every refreshing news feed to engage new visitors and increase returning ones.
Furthermore, the website needed to display these stories to a mobile audience. It therefore needed to adapt to any device without detracting from the content on the site. Luckily for them, all of our websites are responsive as standard.
Clear Information Architecture
School websites are renowned for their vast quantities of information. As such, before the website was designed we worked with the Saint Ronan's team to identify a clear information architecture that would provide the user with access to all critical information from the menu structure. Tabbed and tiled design then allowed for further filtering of information where necessary.
Through a clear marketing strategy, the Saint Ronan's website acts as the central platform for the school. Yellowball continues to work with Saint Ronan's to ensure that material produced for both current, former and prospective parents and pupils is cohesive, whether that be digital, print or hand written!
