Overview

Reframing fire safety around peace of mind, design and protection.

Plumis is a British engineering company behind Automist – a smart, targeted fire suppression system designed as a modern alternative to traditional sprinklers. For the US market, the brand needed a product-led website that could speak directly to high-net-worth homeowners, architects, builders and installers.

Yellowball was commissioned to design and build a new WordPress website focused on Automist as the hero product. The brief was to move beyond technical explanation alone – creating an emotional, premium experience that connects the product to what matters most: protecting homes, families, pets and treasured spaces.

  • Product-led UX focused on Automist, protection and premium home integration

  • Installer matching flow with CRM-connected lead capture and location filtering

  • Project and knowledge base templates to support trust, education and conversion

  • WordPress build with SEO migration planning, redirects and performance optimisation

The Challenge

Plumis needed to reposition Automist for the US market in a way that felt premium, emotionally resonant and commercially effective.

The existing Drupal site was brand-led, content-heavy and less suited to the needs of homeowners looking for fast reassurance and installer access.

The challenge was to simplify the experience while building confidence in a technically advanced product – making Automist feel desirable, credible and easy to act on.

What We Did

A refined digital experience built around trust, reassurance and installer conversion.

We created a bespoke website that balances product education with emotional storytelling. Large imagery, video, soft colour palettes and subtle motion help position Automist as a premium, beautifully integrated safety solution for modern homes.

The site was structured around clear user journeys – from understanding the product to finding a local installer. Key templates include a dedicated installer flow, directory, project pages, downloads, knowledge base and product education content. Gravity Forms integration supports lead capture, CRM routing and enquiry tracking, while SEO migration planning ensures the move from Drupal and potential domain shift are handled with care.

The Result

A sophisticated digital platform designed to turn interest into installer enquiries.

The new Automist website gives Plumis a clearer, more compelling route into the US residential market. Product benefits are communicated with warmth and precision, while streamlined CTAs guide users towards speaking with an installer, downloading resources or exploring real-world projects.

Built in WordPress with flexible content templates, the platform gives the team room to grow – supporting future project stories, knowledge content, installer expansion and ongoing market development.
