Overview

Reintroducing a historic ingredients brand with clarity, confidence and control.

Berjé is a global supplier of essential oils, aromatic chemicals and natural ingredients, with a long-standing reputation across fragrance, flavour and ingredient markets. Their new website needed to bring greater consistency to the brand, improve product discovery, and present complex market information in a more polished, B2B-focused way.

Yellowball was commissioned to redesign and rebuild the website in WordPress – re-implementing Berjé’s brand guidelines with a cleaner, more sophisticated visual direction. The result is a refined, product-led platform that balances brand storytelling, technical data and market insight.

The Challenge

Berjé’s existing digital presence needed stronger consistency with its brand guidelines and a clearer approach to product information.

With a large catalogue, technical data, market reports and regional ingredient stories, the challenge was to simplify navigation and elevate presentation without losing depth.

The site also needed to feel more confident and commercially focused – reducing visual clutter, strengthening typography, and ensuring the experience worked for repeat users searching quickly as well as new visitors exploring the brand.

What We Did

A flexible WordPress website built around product search, data and brand consistency.

We created a new digital experience using Berjé’s core typography, refined colour palette and visual language, reducing softer decorative elements in favour of a cleaner, more confident B2B presentation. Product discovery was placed at the heart of the site, with improved search, filtering and category pathways for a large global product catalogue.

The product inner pages were designed to present technical data, crop calendar information, market updates and enquiry pathways in a clear, structured format. Alongside this, we created flexible content templates for news, sustainability, “In the Fields” storytelling, crop calendar content and campaign-led landing pages.

The new Berjé website gives users a more intuitive way to explore products, access technical information and engage with the brand’s expertise. Clearer hierarchy, improved search, and a more disciplined visual system create a stronger B2B experience throughout.
