Magazine Design
With a rich history in publications, Yellowball have a team of graphic designers at your disposal. Whether it be a printed magazine or digital version, our magazine designers will work with your editorial team to create flat plans and individual page designs. We’re not just artworking either. We consider your audience and the purpose of the magazine, often increasing readership numbers and boosting future ad demand and advertising revenue.

Fully managed magazine projects
With an experienced team of magazine designers, we are able to fully manage magazine projects. Using online project management tools we can collate content and imagery, as well as creating infographics and illustrations which are managed on a single tool. This allows our clients to review the magazine on a per-spread basis, providing direct feedback and allowing for quick amendments to be made.

Flat Plan & Content
We’ll take the time to understand how your brand is represented across various marketing channels. The project starts with a briefing meeting and by collating all of the information necessary including previous magazine designs, content, imagery, flat plans and more. We also have a team of in-house copywriters that can work with an editor to support your content creation.
Page layouts & Design
Our professional design team then get to work on individual page layouts, often setting grids and wireframes for initial sign off. We’ll work to your colour palette or suggest any amends for print or digital versions of the publication. For large pagination issues we may suggest varieties in fonts, colours and the use of imagery to ensure that the reader is engaged throughout.
Feedback
Using market leading online project management software, we provide full visibility into the project plan, timeframe and deliverables. This also allows us to collate feedback on a single platform, with near real-time communication. Any amendments will be added to the project plan and applied to each page.
Print Ready or Digital Version
Publications are often working to tight deadlines. As such, as soon as the magazine design has been signed off we will package up the files and provide them in both print ready and digital formats. If necessary we can advise on GSM and paper types, liaising with our network of printers to ensure that you capitalise on our economies of scale.
We work on a retained basis for monthly magazines, or per-spread basis depending on your needs
